Friday 24th May and when will summer start?
My friend Barry launched his Westerly Fulmar at Larkmans Ltd Melton in the River Deben and along with James Robinson we took her down the estuary to Ramsholt where she is now on a mooring until Tuesday when she will go round to her summer mooring at Orford.
Bitterly cold in the Northerly winds and heavy cold rain but we had a lovely lunch in the cockpit in our oilies provided by Barry and then went ashore in the inflatable where we were we chatted with George the Ramsholt Harbour Master.
