‘Talisker 1’ had spent the week at Orford on her mooring but Saturday night of the 24th was spent at anchor off Stoney Point above Aldeburgh in the company of ‘Tuesday’ and Doc as a low swept through and gave us a windy night but much quieter than it would have been on our moorings at Orford…
and then with a second low due through on Monday ‘Talisker 1’ left Orford after a windy Sunday morning back on our mooring to head back to The Orwell..

A perfect sailing day down to Languard with 15 knots over the deck ..
…and long swells can clearly be seen in the picture above. The aftermath of the low just gone and a rare sight in these shallow waters.
The following day with ‘Talisker 1’ tucked up in Suffolk YH the second low came through …
